Concept ideas for the open spaces
Landscape architects RaeburnFarquharBowen have been commissioned to explore initial concept ideas for the open spaces beside Mcintyre Avenue and the space between the rear of the primary school and Muir Drive.
They have identified the potential for these to be multifunctional amenity spaces that could provide additional outdoor space for the school, community growing areas, enhance biodiversity, offer informal play and sport for older children / young adults, a potential community building as well as flexible spaces for recreation, play and events.
The Residents Association and Allotments Association are hosting a community engagement event on Thursday 16th June at the Primary School 4 – 7pm – please come along and share your views on what you’d like to see in these valuable spaces!
If you are unable to make it along on the day, feel free to contact the Residents Association directly to provide your input.
